The Education and Science section of the Embassy of Finland in China cordially invites Finnish HEIs to participate in two Sino-Finnish Higher Education Networking Events, which will bring together actors operating in the Finnish and Chinese higher education sector to discuss their ongoing as well as planned and desired Sino-Finnish cooperation initiatives in a warm and relaxed setting.
The two back to back events will take place in Shanghai and Beijing on the 24th and 26th of October, respectively. The Shanghai event is targeted mainly on research universities while the Beijing event is targeted on universities of applied sciences (the Embassy welcomes participation in both or either one, however!). Partial online-participation is also possible.
The Embassy of Finland in China welcomes both institutions with previous experience in Sino-Finnish cooperation, but also parties interested in new research, mobility etc. cooperation opportunities. The events will comprise of a short introduction of the participating organizations (online & in-person participation possible) and an informal networking event (in-person only). The Embassy hopes that for the introduction session the participating institutions would be willing to briefly (max. 2-3 minutes) present their existing cooperation platform, as well as address what kind of hopes and future plans they have related to Sino-Finnish cooperation.
