IndiaOpen for all

Main topics: Indo-Finnish Collaboration, Policy Reforms

As India sets about implementing the provisions outlined in the National Education Policy (NEP, 2020), a massive nation-wide reform across all levels of education, there is hope and excitement, and at the same time angst, confusion and frustration. The policy, with its “revolutionary” reforms, envisages far-reaching transformations in the Indian education System, including an increased focus on early and foundational stages, reforming the existing exam system, strengthening teacher training and restructuring the framework of school education, amongst many other promising recommendations.
